Job description
Employees in this role work throughput a product life cycle. They work with product planners and owners to establish measureable performance goals which meet market requirements. They design and implement workloads reflecting actual customer usage patterns, then request measurements and do analysis to verify that the product's performance goals are met. They work closely with development on design and implementation enhancements and make tuning recommendations to improve software performance. In addition, they develop and provide capacity planning and investigation guidance and tools to Sales and Support.

Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 4 years experience in at least one programming language (Java or C/C++)
- At least 4 years experience in scripting language (Perl, Python or Rexx)
- At least 4 years experience in Operating System: Unix (AIX, Solaris, Linux, HP/UX) or Windows
- At least 4 years experience in Database: DB2, Oracle, SQL Server (expert in one of above)
- At least 5 years experience in performance testing
- At least 2 years experience in technical leader/ Software PM
- English: Fluent
- Chinese simplified: Fluent


Additional information
- Diagnose problems and resolve the issues.
- Excellent communication skills and good team-work spirit. Good verbal and technical writing in English.
- Great passion to the business. Have strong ownership and problem solving skills.
- Be familiar and experience working on the tool of Rational Performance Tester or loadrunner is a plus.
- More than 5 years of software engineering with hands-on experience
